Una de las cosas más lindas de esta historia de amor fue la pedida de mano de Alex al papá de Caro (La novia). Alex no habla español y antes de pedir la mano de Caro entró a clases y memorizó lo que quería decirle a su padre! en ese momento Caro supo que no había mejor persona en el mundo que el <3 :3 Luego el papá de la novia nos contó en el brindis el día de la boda, que esa noche que Alex le pidió la mano de su hija hablaron por horas no sabe cómo!! jajaja <3
All love stories are special, of course!, especially those where the love is so strong you want to spend the rest of your life next to your significant other.
One of the most beautiful things about this love story was when Alex asked for permission to marry Caro (The bride). Alex didn’t speak spanish, and before asking for her hand he took spanish classes and he memorized what he had to say to his future father in law! When Caro found out about this, she knew there was no better person in the world.
After the bride’s dad told everyone during the wedding toast about the night Alex asked for Caro’s hand, and that they talked for hours, everyone wondered how they did it! hahaha

Ellos se conocieron en California y desde el primer día hicieron click, al poco tiempo se hicieron novios pero 8 meses después Caro decidió regresar a Colombia, en ese momento pensaron que terminarían su relación cuando esto sucediera y que cada uno seguiría su camino.
Pero Alex días antes de Caro irse quiso acompañarla para pasar unos días más con ella y conocer su país, fueron a Cartagena y allí decidieron que intentarían una relación a distancia. Así, a la distancia, empezaron a soñar una vida juntos y como no tenían fotos de los dos hicieron un juego de montajes de fotos en los lugares que querían visitar <3<3<3 Caro me compartió esas fotos pero me dijo que prohibido burlarse! jajajaj me encantaron esos montajes!!! así es el amor que le hacemos pues! <3
They met in California and they clicked from the first day. After a little while they became boyfriend and girlfriend and started to dream about sharing a life and experiences together. Because they didn’t had any photos together they started to play a game where they photoshopped the places they wanted to visit <3<3<3 Caro shared those photos with us, and she said no one can make fun of them! hahaha I love the photoshop pictures!!! That’s how love is, what can we do!
After 8 months of relationship Caro decided she wanted to go back to Colombia. They decided to end the relationship after she left and move on with their lives. But days before Caro was going to leave, Alex decided he wanted to go with her for a few days, so they went to Cartagena. In Cartagena, they decided to have a long distance relationship.

Entre esos montajes estaba Guatapé un lindo pueblo de Antioquia del cuál Caro habló maravillas a su novio, entonces un año después de eso cuando Alex volvió a Colombia se fueron a conocerlo. En Guatapé subieron a la piedra y se hicieron la famosa foto del montaje pero esta vez era la foto real y a pesar de ser el momento perfecto para hacerle la pregunta a Caro, el vio mucha gente y quería que fuera algo privado. Caro notaba extraño a su novio y cuando volvieron a la cabaña que flotaba sobre la represa estaba lloviendo! éste sí era el momento perfecto!! y Alex le dijo: “hagamos un video chistoso saltando a la represa” ella dijo sí, entonces puso la cámara… miren el video!!! hay video y todo <3
In one of the photoshops they made when they first started to date, they were in Guatapé, a beautiful Colombian town that Carolina showed him. A year later, when Alex went to Colombia to see her, they visited Guatape. In Guatape they hiked to the top of the rock and they actually took the photo just like the one the photoshopped, and even though that was the perfect moment to pop the question, he saw a lot of people and he wanted something more private. So he waited until they arrived at their floating bungalow in the lake. At that time it was raining, that was the perfect time! Alex said, “Let’s make a funny video jumping into the water.” She said yes and he started to record.. look at the video!!!! We have a video and everything!!
Ella dijo sí obviamente pero le preguntaba: ¿En serio??, ¿En serio??,

Cuál de los dos más felices!! el hermano de Alex nos contaba en el brindis el día de la boda que no veía a su hermano tan feliz desde que era un niño!!
She said yes of course! She kept asking “Really? Really? Are we getting married? in the real life? ”
They were both very happy!! The day of the wedding, when Alex’s brother was doing his toast he said he hadn’t seen Alex that happy since he was a boy!!

El día de la boda hizo un sol hermoso perfecto para las fotos! La novia iba descalza para conectarse con la tierra y con la energía del universo y así agradecer todas la bendiciones recibidas <3 Ellos hicieron un primer encuentro que son fotos de pareja antes de la ceremonia y yo feliz de que me hicieran caso porque en Antioquia al estar rodeados de montañas el sol se oculta muy rápido y si la ceremonia es a las 4pm a las 5 ó 5:30 que termine (porque no conozco ninguna boda puntual), ya hay muy poca luz. Además la novia dijo que fue uno de sus momentos favoritos porque fue muy intimo y lindo antes de empezar toda la locura de la boda.

Sé que sonará cliche y todo lo que quieran! pero es real que me encantan las historias de amor y que las novias sientan toda la confianza de contarme hasta los más mínimos detalles de la suya.
