Beyonce and Salo, I still can’t get over your wedding. Two incredibly young souls, deeply kind and so genuinely in love. The kind of story you can feel from the very first second. They met while volunteering through their community in the U.S. and ended up saying “yes forever” in Medellín, Colombia.
And I honestly don’t even know how to explain it, but their entire wedding felt peaceful, pure and beautiful in the most genuine way. One of those weddings where love feels bigger than the production itself.
They even seated me with their guests and there I was, feeling like a total rockstar, like part of the family for the night.

Beyonce y Salo, todavía no supero esta boda. Son dos almas demasiado jóvenes, demasiado nobles y demasiado enamoradas. De esas historias que uno siente diferentes desde el primer momento. Se conocieron haciendo servicio voluntario dentro de su comunidad en Estados Unidos y terminaron diciendo “sí para siempre” en Medellín, Colombia.
Y no sé cómo explicarlo, pero toda su boda tenía una energía demasiado pura, tranquila y bonita. De esas bodas donde el amor se siente más fuerte que cualquier producción.
Hasta me sentaron en la mesa con sus invitados y yo ahí, sintiéndome rockstar, como si fuera parte de la familia.

Ana y Alejo se soñaron una boda en Santa Rosa de Osos y desde Medellín llegamos varios proveedores a hacerla realidad, empezó en un espacio vacío y terminó en un matrimonio lleno de detalles y emoción. Flores de Abril se encargó de la planeación y la decoración y convirtió todo en un lugar hermoso, coherente y lleno de vida, cada rincón bien pensado. La Pec dejó hermosa la novia y cuando cayó la noche, Vuelta Candela prendió la fiesta con su banda y lo volvió un fiestón de principio a fin. Yo estuve ahí, con mi cámara detrás de cada momento, capturando la esencia de todo lo que estaba pasando para que lo recuerden siempre.

Ana and Alejo dreamed up their wedding in Santa Rosa de Osos, and we all traveled from Medellín as a team of vendors to bring it to life. It started as an empty space and turned into a celebration full of intention, details, and emotion. Flores de Abril led the planning and design, transforming everything into a beautiful, cohesive setting where every corner felt thoughtfully curated. La Pec made the bride look stunning, and when the night came, Vuelta Candela took over with their live band and turned it into an unforgettable party from start to finish. Cami y Jose no se casaron una vez… se dijeron sí tres veces. Sí civil en USA, sí en la iglesia, y este tercer sí en Medellín, simbólico, más libre, más suyo. #SISISI pero de verdad.
Esta boda no fue para posar, fue para vivirla. Dejaron que todo pasara como tenía que pasar, llenaron el día de detalles que solo ellos podían inventarse: servilletas escritas a mano con frases que se decían cuando eran novios, pines para cada invitado (porque sí, son fans de los pines), tote bags para sus invitados, carritos de postres que iban mesa por mesa en lugar de la típica mesa estática, fotos en film para guardar el recuerdo con otra textura… y hasta un sello con el logo de su matrimonio para los cocteles.
Tienen claro algo que no todo el mundo entiende: que casarse no es un libreto, es una forma de sentirse. Y ellos lo hicieron a su manera.

Cami and Jose didn’t get married once… they said yes three times. A civil ceremony in the U.S., a church wedding, and this third one in Medellín, symbolic, more free, more them. #SISISI but for real.
This wasn’t a wedding for posing, it was a wedding to be fully lived. They let everything unfold naturally, filling the day with details only they could have dreamed up: handwritten napkins with phrases from their dating days, custom pins for every guest (because yes, they love pins), tote bags for their guests, dessert carts moving from table to table instead of a traditional setup, some moments captured on film for a different kind of memory… even a custom stamp with their wedding logo for the cocktails.
They understand something not everyone does: getting married isn’t a script, it’s a feeling. And they followed theirs.

Cami de Santander y Jose de Ecuador… viven en NYC y Medellín fue el lugar donde se dieron el segundo y tercer SÍ.
Se casaron tres veces (sí, #SISISI 😭) y esta… se sintió MUY ellos. Sin poses, sin presión, sin “mírame aquí”… solo vivir, reír, abrazarse y dejar que todo pasara mientras yo hacía lo mío: capturar fotos lo más espontáneas posibles y cero poses forzadas.
Amo cuando una boda destino en Colombia se vuelve tan real, tan honesta… tan documental. Porque al final, esa es la fotografía de bodas en Medellín que más me mueve: la que no se fuerza, la que simplemente sucede. Y Cami y Jose lo entendieron perfecto… su único plan era disfrutarse cada segundo, y eso se notó en cada imagen.
